I posted Rembrandt (1936) back when I was blissfully ignorant of copyright, and knew nothing about video editing. It's copyright status should be checked.

"Rembrandt" is fine. There was no renewal registration and LTE Carlton have not lodge an NIE, and regardless it was PD in the UK at the important date for GATT/URAA restoration. I can't guarantee that the Carlton/Granada/ITV or whoever owns the catalogue now agrees with this but, legally, the film is PD.
